Calgary is the number one destination for immigrants settling in Alberta.
Immigrants struggle to find affordable housing, and in-depth and reliable information on housing. These issues coupled with discrimination lead to significant difficulties for immigrants in securing and maintaining housing. ISCC is working collaboratively to improve outcomes for immigrants who are struggling to meet this basic need.
We work closely with the homeless and housing sectors to help them identify resources for immigrants and to build an evidence-base for specific systems and policy change.
