The ISCC strives to fulfill its mission by working collaboratively as a cross-sector initiative made up of organizations that have expertise or a vested interest in settlement and integration for newcomers. The result is an unparalleled ability to recognize the intersections between public policy and systems, identify gaps or barriers, and work together to strengthen policy and systems-level responses. Priorities include housing and homelessness for immigrant populations, immigrant labour market integration, poverty among immigrant populations, and issues specific to children and youth of immigrant families.
