One Day Arts School (ODAS) is an award-winning, custom-designed field trip to EPCOR CENTRE, Calgary’s premier arts centre. We engage students, parents and teachers in hands-on, arts-based workshops that align with K-12 curriculums including: drama, dance, music and visual art. Registration

Artists in the Classroom - brings artists to schools to collaborate with students and teachers in engaging arts-based learning including: visual art, drama, dance, music and multi-media. Students, teachers and professional artists use artistic creativity to better understand curriculum or inquiry-based topics that can be implemented with a single class or entire school community. ArtsMOVE - is a new 5-day program that combines the Artists in the Classroom and One Day Arts School programs. A professional artist(s) spends four days in the classroom collaborating with students and teachers on an engaging, arts-infused project. On the 5th day, the project concludes at EPCOR CENTRE with an opportunity to present and celebrate the week’s outcomes. This could include installing a visual art exhibit, presenting a drama or dance performance, meeting professional artists or receiving a backstage pass to one of our resident theatre companies.
